Web Application Usage Policy
Preamble
This document, henceforth referred to as the "Policy", sets forth the terms and conditions under which militaryapis, the website and associated webapps (hereinafter referred to as the "Application") is provided to the User. Access to or use of the Application constitutes acceptance of and agreement to be bound by this Policy.
Disclaimer of Warranties
- As-Is Basis: The Application is provided "as is" and without any warranty of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permissible pursuant to applicable law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- No Guarantee of Service: We do not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Application or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.
- No Liability for Damages: Under no circumstances, including, but not limited to, negligence, shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the Application.
- Content Sources: The content is generated using a mixture of open source data and AI summaries over it. Please consume the content with an assumption of inaccuracies despite our best efforts to maintain accuracy.
Modification and Termination of Service
- Right to Modify: We reserve the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Application (or any part thereof) with or without notice.
- Right to Terminate: We reserve the right to terminate User access to the Application at any time, without notice, for any reason whatsoever.
User Obligations
- Lawful Use: The User agrees to use the Application solely for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the Application by any third party.
- Responsible Conduct: Users shall conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner while using the Application, refraining from any form of harassment, abuse, or misuse of the service.
- Account Security: The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account and password and for restricting access to their computer. The User agrees to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under their account or password.
Limitation of Liability
- Exclusion of Liability: In no event will we be liable for any damages whatsoever, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, arising out of the use of or inability to use the Application or any content thereon, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations hereunder where such failure results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including, without limitation, mechanical, electronic, or communications failure or degradation.
Dispute Resolution
- Governing Law: This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
- Dispute Resolution Process: Any disputes arising out of or related to this Policy or the use of the Application shall be resolved through final and binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, taking place in Connecticut. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator, and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on both parties.

This Policy is subject to change at any time without notice. The continued use of the Application following any changes to this Policy constitutes acceptance of those changes.
